New Police Officers and Government Inspectors Join Hagen Police Force

On Monday, September 1, 2025, the Hagen Police force welcomed 27 new members, including two government inspectors, as part of their administrative department. The new recruits, a mix of experienced officers and newly trained individuals, were officially welcomed by Police President Ursula Tomahogh and her extended management team.

The new police officers received their first badge during a swearing-in ceremony, led by Police Director Ursula Schönberg, head of the Directorate of Danger Prevention/Deployment. After raising their right hands, the new officers had a direct exchange with their new directorate, watch, and precinct leaders.

Of the 27 new officers, 18 are newly trained commissioners, while nine were transferred from other agencies. The new government inspectors, joining the force on the same day, will also serve an essential role within the administrative department.

Hagen Police expresses delight with the new additions to their force. The new employees are based in the city on the Volme and are expected to perform their responsibilities in and for Hagen.
