The Ludwigsburg Police Headquarters, part of the police force in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, is currently leading an investigation following the theft of several parts from a large-scale drilling and deep construction machine.

The incident occurred on a construction site adjacent to the Federal Highway 81, between the interchanges Boeblingen/Hulb and Boeblingen/Sindelfingen, on the night of Monday, June 23, 2025, and the early hours of Tuesday, June 24, 2025. The unknown perpetrators were active between 19:30 on June 23 and 7:00 on June 24, and have yet to be publicly identified.

The stolen equipment includes a drilling tower that stands 15 meters high, and the parts are estimated to be worth approximately €100,000.
