On Saturday, 7th March 2025, a 50-year-old homeless man was arrested in Stuttgart-South following an altercation at Marienplatz. The incident, which occurred around 22:50, involved a 15-year-old teenager and the 50-year-old man. The suspect is accused of striking the teenager on the head with a glass bottle during the altercation, resulting in the 15-year-old being lightly injured.

The suspect, a Bosnian national, was presented to a judge on the following day, 8th March 2025, at the request of the public prosecutor's office. The judge issued a warrant and remanded the man into custody at a detention facility.
