A hit-and-run incident and a gold chain theft have left residents of Marburg, Germany, in shock. On August 27, 2025, the incident occurred on the L3049 near Günterrod, resulting in an injury to an 82-year-old woman.

The victim was driving a gray Renault Scenic when she was hit by a brownish or dark beige car with an MR license plate. The perpetrator, described as North African, 20-25 years old, 180 cm tall, and speaking French, is reported to have stolen a gold chain valued at around 500 euros from the victim.

The hit-and-run driver, accompanied by two individuals, was witnessed by a blue car that may have seen the collision. Unfortunately, the perpetrators have not been identified yet, and the police are urgently seeking witness information.

The first perpetrator was slim, with short, dark hair, wearing a light, printed T-shirt, and a cowboy hat. The second perpetrator was muscular, with short, dark, wavy hair, wearing a light T-shirt.
