Autumn commences with regional precipitation and misty conditions

The southwest of Germany is bracing for a change in weather, as clouds and rain are expected to move across the region, according to the German Weather Service (DWD). Meteorologists have announced that autumn will officially begin on Monday.

Rain is set to spread across the region on Monday, with maximum temperatures ranging between 18 and 22 degrees Celsius. However, large amounts of rain are not expected on this day. The clouds are expected to clear by Thursday, with only isolated showers. There may be foggy conditions in some places during the night from Tuesday to Wednesday.

Overnight from Sunday to Monday, clouds and the first drops of rain are expected in Baden. In the eastern part of Baden-Württemberg, rain is expected to clear up by Tuesday.

During the day on Wednesday, it will remain cloudy with maximum temperatures between 17 and 22 degrees Celsius. Locally, there may be thunder and lightning on Tuesday.

The reliability of this prediction is uncertain, as it is not possible to reliably predict the weather that far in advance.

However, there is some good news for those who are not quite ready to say goodbye to summer. Some weather models predict a late summer comeback next weekend, with temperatures potentially above 25 or even 30 degrees Celsius. This prediction comes from MeteoNews, which predicts a short summer revival in Switzerland with temperatures rising above 25 degrees Celsius on Sunday, particularly in the west and northwest, with up to 28 degrees forecast in Basel.

It's important to note that this prediction is not certain and the weather can change quickly. Stay tuned for further updates as we monitor the situation.
