Rinat Avigur, an accomplished professional with a unique educational background, has taken on a significant role in Germany. As of March 15, 2024, she has been serving as the Project Manager of the eGovernment MONITOR study at Initiative D21, where she is responsible for managing the digital transformation of the public sector in Germany.

Avigur's educational journey spans across two continents. She holds a double bachelor's degree in Politics & Psychology and European Studies from both the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel, and the Free University of Berlin. She furthered her studies with a master's degree in European Studies.

Before joining Initiative D21, Avigur honed her skills at the Coordination Center for German-Israeli Youth Exchange ConAct. Here, she held positions as an education advisor and project manager, where she was tasked with coordinating large conferences and developing digital formats for international encounters.

The eGovernment MONITOR study at Initiative D21 is a collaborative effort with the German Federal Ministry of the Interior, Building, and Community. The study aims to provide recommendations for improving the digital transformation of the public sector in Germany. It is expected to run for an initial period of three years, with the possibility of extension.

Prior to becoming the project leader of the eGovernment MONITOR study at Initiative D21, Avigur was a project manager at the Körber Foundation. Her extensive experience in education advisory and project management, coupled with her strong background in digital development, makes her an ideal candidate for this role.

The eGovernment MONITOR study at Initiative D21 is focused on evaluating the digital transformation of the public sector in Germany. Avigur's leadership is expected to bring about significant improvements in this area, contributing to a more efficient and modern public sector.
