Awards given out for the "I Live Here, I Create Here" competition in the AutoZavodsky district
In the heart of Nizhny Novgorod, the Avtozavod District hosted the annual "I Live Here, I Create Here!" competition on September 6, 2025. This year's event saw 44 participants declared winners across seven categories, showcasing the district's vibrant and creative spirit.
The competition, which has been running for 26 years, attracted a total of 221 applications from 237 Avtozavod residents, including 33 debutants. The categories ranged from "Best Entrance Group Design" to "Discovery of the Year," each one a testament to the residents' dedication to making their district a more beautiful place.
In the "Largest Flower Composition" category, Kapitolina Grishaeva Anatolevna took home the Laureate II degree, while Marina Kalinina Vladimirovna and Svetlana Abdulina Igorovna shared the Laureate I degree. In the "Oasis at an Apartment Building" category, Elena Smorodova Aleksandrovna and Rogatina Natalia Viktorovna, Natalya Kudlay Aleksandrovna, and Morozova Natalia Yuryevna received the Laureate I, II, and III degrees, respectively.
The "Garden Decor and Small Architecture" category saw Elena Korneeva Vladimirovna and Galina Gladkova Alexandrovna receive the Laureate I degree, while Balakina Elena Yuryevna and Galina Aleksandrovna took the Laureate III degree. The Laureate I degree in the "Collective Courtyard Decoration" category was awarded to Valentina Abrashkina Aleksandrovna and Erina Valentina Viktorovna, with Albina Kiseleva Kapitonovna, Vereveyko Natalya Valentinovna, and Verechak Igor Vyascheslavovich receiving the Laureate III degree.
The "Discovery of the Year" category was a shared triumph, with Nina Ruchkina Sergeyevna and Golubeva Galina Sergeyevna, Zaharova Nadezhda Viktorovna and Manoskina Irina Borisovna, and Abdulina Svetlana Igorovna and Serebryakova Nina Nikolaevna all receiving the Laureate II degree.
The Grand Prix winners of the competition were Nikitina Natalia Vyacheslavovna, Nikitin Roman Vladimirovich, Palchikova Nella Nikolaevna, and Farenkova Valentina Aleksandrovna. The Grand Prix winner in a separate category was Alexey Ivanov.
Alexander Nagin, the head of the district, noted that over 3,000 district residents have participated in the competition since its inception. Oksana Degtyareva, director of the ANO "Public Self-Government of Nizhny Novgorod," emphasized that the beauty of the district is largely due to the joint work of Avtozavod residents and the district administration. Nizhny Novgorod City Duma deputy Maria Kuznetsova congratulated Avtozavod residents for making their district more beautiful.
All winners received diplomas, certificates, and memorable gifts for their achievements. The competition serves as a testament to the creativity and dedication of the Avtozavod District residents, who continue to transform their neighbourhood into a vibrant and beautiful place to live.
