Bands such as Deftones, Turnstile, Viagra Boys, Doechii, along with others, unveiled as performers for Lollapalooza concerts in Brazil, Chile, and Argentina
The Lollapalooza festival, originally launched by Jane's Addiction frontman Perry Farrell, his agent, and his management in 1991, is set to return to South America next year. The festival will take place in Chile, Argentina, and Brazil from March 13 to 22.
Deftones, the American alternative metal band, have shared the full line-ups for the festivals on their social media accounts. Alongside Deftones, other artists bound for the South American events next year include Sabrina Carpenter, Lorde, Chappell Roan, and The Killers. Doechii and Viagra Boys are also among the confirmed artists.
Deftones recently released their tenth studio album, "Private Music," on August 22. The album is set to claim Deftones' fourth UK Top 10 chart placing. Chino Moreno, the frontman of Deftones, spoke about "Private Music" to the New York Times. He stated that the band's creativity did not require drugs for "Private Music" and made the album while approaching his third year of sobriety.
In a sad turn of events, the car accident involving Chi Cheng, the Deftones' bassist, left him in a coma. After this incident in November 2008, the album "Eros" was shelved, and the Deftones continued production with bass player Sergio Vega, resulting in the album "Diamond Eyes," produced by Nick Raskulinecz. Chino Moreno admitted that the "lost" Deftones album "Eros" will most likely never be released.

In addition to the Lollapalooza festival, Deftones and Turnstile will also perform at the Estéreo Picnic weekender in Colombia from March 20-22. The weekend promises to be a musical extravaganza, with a diverse lineup of artists to cater to a wide range of music tastes.
