Banglalink promotes its ESG principles nationwide through mass tree planting campaign
In the heart of Uttara, a vibrant event took place that brought together students, city officials, and club members in a shared mission. The event, organised by an unspecified number of dedicated individuals, aimed to promote a greener tomorrow and inspire the youth.
Abdul Muqeed Majumdar Babu, the Chairman of Prokriti O Jibon Foundation, was present at the event. He stated that the event was about nurturing awareness, inspiring youth, and cultivating a culture of responsibility for a greener tomorrow.
The event included the distribution of saplings, with approximately 100 Banglalink employees participating, lending their support to the cause. The Prokriti O Jibon Foundation, it seems, was not alone in this initiative. The Bangladesh Forest Department, an organisation that initiated the "Sobuje Sajai Bangladesh" tree planting and sapling distribution campaigns, collaborated with the foundation, covering over 57 districts from August 1 to September 15.
This event in Uttara was more than just a simple gathering. It was a collaborative celebration, a testament to the power of unity in fostering change. The focus was clear: to inspire the youth and cultivate responsibility, not just for the present, but for the future as well.
As the day came to a close, the air in Uttara was filled with a renewed sense of hope and a shared commitment to a greener tomorrow. The event served as a powerful reminder that each sapling planted is a step towards a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future for all.
