Banking institution Volksbank BRAWO proposes a fresh layout for its main office in Peine
In the heart of Peine, Volksbank BRAWO has announced plans to construct a new main branch on Am Markt, aiming to architecturally enhance the historic market square and demonstrate a commitment to the city's future.
The bank, deeply rooted in the region, has expressed gratitude to key figures such as the first mayor, Mr. Tarrey, the Head of Building Authority, Mr. Hahn, and the Head of Urban Planning, Mr. Okon, for their excellent cooperation throughout the project.
The current building structure is no longer suitable for the bank's needs, and preparations for its demolition can begin before the competition's results for the new building's design are announced. The competition, set to start soon, will be held due to the central location of the historic market square.
During the two-year construction period, Volksbank will have an interim solution. The directorial leadership, corporate and commercial customer care, real estate financing, and real estate mediation will be available at Unternehmenspark 2 (UPP 2) on Woltorfer Straße. Meanwhile, the private customer care and asset customer advice will remain at the former branch in Bahnhofstraße.
SB machines will be available at Bahnhofstraße for cash supply and SB account services during the construction period. Affected parties are welcome to contact Ulf Müller for discussions about the construction and demolition work.
Volksbank BRAWO has emphasised the importance of the Peine branch for the future and its commitment to providing optimal consulting opportunities without compromises or half-measures. The bank's intent to build a new main branch in Peine reaffirms its belief in the city's centre and its continued significance in the coming decades.
The construction project has been entrusted to BRAWO RE Building Solutions GmbH. Talks have been held with the owners of neighbouring properties, and joint inspections are planned to ensure a smooth and safe construction process. A mutual open and transparent cooperation has been established between the bank and the city of Peine.
The new building, planned to meet all future requirements, will also be the subject of a façade competition. The decision on the winning design is expected by the end of the year.
As the project progresses, Volksbank BRAWO remains dedicated to serving its customers and the community of Peine, looking forward to a brighter future in the city's historic market square.
