Bathing season comes to a close on August 31, 2025.
The Bathing Operations Company, led by Manfred Habrunner, has successfully navigated staff shortages during the 2025 outdoor swimming season. Despite the challenges, the swimming operations at the Milchborntal outdoor pool and the Kombi pool Paffrath were maintained smoothly without major restrictions.
In an effort to counteract staff shortages, particularly in lifeguarding, the company focused on targeted talent promotion, internal qualification measures, and cooperations. Manfred Habrunner, the Managing Director, emphasized the importance of long-term training and recruitment of specialists in bathing operations.
The digital ticketing system, introduced this year, was well-received by swimming guests. Approximately 70,000 guests visited the two pools during the season, demonstrating the system's success.
To accommodate more guests, the Kombi pool Paffrath will have extended opening hours. From September 1, 2025, the indoor and outdoor area will be open from 6:15 AM to 9:00 PM on Thursdays. Additionally, the outdoor area with its heated 50m outdoor pool will be open from 6:15 AM to 9:00 PM on Tuesdays.
The Bathing Operations Company has also updated its website at [www.baeder-gl.de]. For more information about the company and its pools, visitors are encouraged to check out the website.
As the 2025 outdoor swimming season comes to a close on August 31, 2025, the Bathing Operations Company looks forward to continuing its efforts to provide a smooth and enjoyable swimming experience for all guests.
