Bicycles from Rhönbrand hurtling through the daycare center in Ostheim
On a warm summer's day, August 15, 2025, the Senior Center Ostheim was transformed into a sports arena as TSV/Rhön brought the thrilling world of Rhön wheel gymnastics to the day care centre.
The day was filled with excitement as two employees, Ramona Sündermann and Melanie Krause, tested the Rhön wheels. The young gymnasts Marie Kümmeth and Katrin Hippeli showcased their acrobatic skills and daring spins on the wheels, captivating the audience with their charm and skill.
Katrin Hippeli, the most experienced gymnast, shone with her years of practice, while Marie Kümmeth, with her competition experience, delivered dynamic performances that left the audience in awe.
The visitors expressed their delight about experiencing Nadine Mehling's hobby up close. Nadine, known as a driver in the Ostheim day care centre, trained the gymnasts and made the spectacular arrangement possible.
The guests' reactions included amazed looks, spontaneous applause, and some disbelieving head-shaking. Many described the event as exciting, entertaining, and beautiful. They saw firsthand the strength, energy, and perseverance required to perform on the Rhön wheels.
