Bike accident in Hattingen: More than 2 accidents every mile recorded
In Hattingen, a 47-year-old woman was involved in an accident while riding her e-bike on Isenbergstraße on July 27, 2025. The incident occurred around 16:30, heading towards Niederwenigern.
According to the police, the woman sustained severe injuries in the accident. There was a suspicion that she might have been under the influence of alcohol during the incident. A voluntary breath alcohol test was conducted, showing a reading of over 2 promille.
Following the accident, the woman was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. A blood sample was also taken from her at the hospital for further investigation.
