Motorcycle rider collides with a vehicle, swerves into incoming traffic lanes - Biker collides with a vehicle on the road
In the heart of Berlin-Kreuzberg, a tragic incident unfolded on a Saturday afternoon. A 64-year-old motorcyclist was severely injured in a collision with a car on Köpenicker Straße, near Schlesisches Tor.
The motorcyclist, while attempting to overtake other vehicles, suddenly swerved left and collided with a car driven by a woman. The impact caused the motorcyclist to lose control and slide into oncoming traffic.
In a heartrending turn of events, the motorcyclist was run over by a 54-year-old driver's car who was travelling on the opposite lane. The 54-year-old could not prevent the accident and remained uninjured.
The woman and both car drivers were present at the scene of the collision. The woman was taken to the hospital with severe injuries, while the car drivers remained unharmed.
The police reported the incident, stating that the motorcyclist was travelling on Köpenicker Straße when the collision occurred. A 63-year-old woman, who turned right with her car and entered a property, was not involved in the direct collision but may have contributed to the chaotic traffic situation.
