BMW PGA Championship Celebrity Golf Game Starting Times 2025
The BMW PGA Championship, the DP World Tour's flagship event, is set to commence later this week at Wentworth. The tournament, known for its prestigious field, boasts a stronger lineup than the PGA Tour's Procore Championship.
In the afternoon groups, golfing stars Jon Rahm, Paul Young, Simon Morton, Dan Cunningham, Luke Donald, Finn Russell, Owen Farrell, Henry Pollack, Marco Penge, Peter Dale, Andrew Dale, Paddy McGuinness, Viktor Hovland, Justin Rose, Zak Brown, Shirish Saraf, Danny Willett, and Matt Fitzpatrick will tee off. Notable pairs include Jon Rahm with Paul Young, Simon Morton, and Dan Cunningham, and Luke Donald with Finn Russell, Owen Farrell, and Henry Pollack.
Viktor Hovland, a rising talent, will be joined by golf content creators Peter Finch, Mac Boucher, and Ellie Skoog in the afternoon groups, starting at 1.30pm BST.
In the morning sessions, golfing greats such as Billy Horschel, Tyrrell Hatton, Hideki Matsuyama, Tommy Fleetwood, Corey Conners, and Brooks Koepka will take to the course. Brooks Koepka, a four-time major champion, will be paired with former football stars Robbie Fowler and John Terry, and television presenter Sam Quek. Another standout group includes Hideki Matsuyama, Mark Rosenberg, Paul Kelsa, and Harry Wang.
Ryan Gerard, Declan Maloney, Georgia Ball, and Max Payne are paired together in the morning groups, while Matteo Manassero, Helen Breen, PS Kang, and Imran Nosor will play in the afternoon sessions.
The Celebrity Pro-Am, part of the BMW PGA Championship, will take place on Wednesday, September 10th. British tennis legend Sir Andy Murray, former Real Madrid footballer Gareth Bale, England cricket captain Ben Stokes, F1 star Lando Norris, comedian Michael McIntyre, and actress Kathryn Newton are among the high-profile stars participating in the Celebrity Pro-Am.
Unfortunately, Rory McIlroy will not be participating in the BMW PGA Championship Celebrity Pro-Am due to a prior commitment.
Morning groups in the BMW PGA Championship will start at 8.00am BST in a shotgun start, while the afternoon groups will follow suit. Billy Horschel, who won last year's BMW PGA Championship, will play in the morning groups on the first day.
The tee times and starting holes for the BMW PGA Championship Celebrity Pro-Am at Wentworth have been announced, promising an exciting week of golf and star-studded entertainment.
