Bolttech Makes Debut in Kenya

In an exciting development, digital banking service LOOP, a subsidiary of NCBA Bank, has partnered with bolttech to bring more affordable and comprehensive device protection to Kenyan customers. This partnership extends bolttech's presence in Africa, marking their entry into Kenya's dynamic digital economy.

Stephan Tan, CEO EMEA and Group Chief Investment Officer at bolttech, expressed his pride in entering the Kenyan market alongside LOOP. Tan described Kenya as one of Africa's most dynamic digital economies, making it an ideal location for their innovative, accessible, and digitally driven financial solutions.

The partnership aims to empower customers to live and work with confidence by making high-quality devices more affordable. LOOP Flex, the new product launching in October, will embed protection into the device ownership journey. This includes coverage for theft, accidental damage, liquid damage, mechanical breakdown, and extended warranty.

Eric Muriuki, CEO of LOOP DFS, stated that the partnership provides customers with comprehensive protection. He also expressed delight about bolttech's entry into Kenya and the partnership with a global leader in embedded protection.

All repairs under LOOP Flex will be handled at certified service centres using genuine parts to ensure quality and efficiency. LOOP Flex is set to launch in October 2023, and the partnership between LOOP and bolttech is with a trusted and innovative local partner in Kenya.

The partnership was described as another step towards delivering innovative, accessible, and digitally driven financial solutions. LOOP Flex Device Financing is poised to make it easier and more affordable for customers to own devices, safeguarding the technology they rely on every day.
