The evacuation, which took place in the evening, was ordered by 6 pm. Fifteen households in the district of Ristedt were involved in the evacuation, and the following streets were affected: Leester Straße, fully closed between Syker Straße and Ristedter Kirchweg.
The evacuation was necessary for the safe defusal of the bomb. The bomb disposal service carried out their duties efficiently, and the successful detonation was reported by the Diepholz district authorities. Residents were subsequently allowed to return to their homes.
