HDR10+ GAMING, a new technology in the gaming industry, is making waves, especially on the PC platform. This technology is set to revolutionize the visual experience of popular games like Borderlands 4 and Hell is Us, developed by Gearbox Software and Rogue Factor respectively.

Both Borderlands 4 and Hell is Us have been upgraded with HDR10+ GAMING technology, joining a host of already released blockbuster games that have adopted this emerging standard for gaming visuals. The technology aims to deliver the game as intended by developers, with low latency, precise contrast, brightness, and color rendering.

HDR10+ GAMING eliminates the need for manual adjustments, automatically adjusting visual settings for games. This plug-and-play feature promises to simplify the gaming experience for players, as they can focus on enjoying the game rather than tweaking settings.

Currently, HDR10+ GAMING is only available for PC players using Nvidia or Intel GPUs. However, console players might find this technology a perfect fit for the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in the future. If you don't have a PC, you can still experience HDR10+ GAMING on a TV or monitor with HDR10+ support by checking on the official website.

Bill Mandel, co-manager of HDR10+ Technologies, stated that HDR10+ delivers real benefits for both players and developers. He emphasized that HDR10+ GAMING guarantees the most accurate HDR output for developers, ensuring players experience the game as intended.

HDR10+ GAMING is an extension of HDR technology, which gained traction in gaming during the last generation. It is compatible with the Unreal Engine 5, the biggest game engines, and is already being used in games like Black Ops 6, Cyberpunk 2077, Red Dead Redemption 2, and more.

Moreover, HDR10+ GAMING is royalty-free and is gaining traction across devices for TV and movies, as well as gaming. This technology is expected to continue its growth in the gaming industry, particularly on the PC platform, promising a visually superior gaming experience for many games this year.
