Boxer Conor Benn showcases toned body as his weight is disclosed ten weeks prior to the rematch against Chris Eubank Jr.
Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn are set to square off once again in a highly-anticipated middleweight rematch, scheduled for November 15, 2025, at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
The weight class for the bout will be middleweight, which is around 72.57 kg, and it will be for the IBO middleweight title. The rematch comes ten weeks from now, following a rescheduling from the original date.
In their first encounter, Eubank Jr had his hand raised via unanimous decision, but Benn impressed many by pushing him all the way to the final bell. However, the lead-up to the rematch has been fraught with controversy.
Eubank Jr will once again be unable to rehydrate above 170lbs at a second weigh-in on the morning of the fight, a clause that has met with backlash from several preeminent voices in the boxing sphere. This rehydration clause was not a factor in their first fight, where Eubank Jr missed weight by half an ounce, while Benn weighed in at 156.4lbs.
In the aftermath of their first meeting, Eubank Jr was rushed to the hospital due to chronic dehydration. He revealed in a recent appearance on the Diary of a CEO podcast that he was in the hospital with IV drops, had a full bladder for two hours, and a puffed-up face with a massive cut across his eye.
Meanwhile, Benn looks to be in excellent physical condition, with a visible six-pack during his training camp. He stepped up two weight classes to box Eubank Jr at middleweight for their first fight, and a recent video showed him weighing 156lbs at his gym in Essex.
Eubank Jr will cut to 160lbs on the Friday before the rematch. Despite the challenges, he remains confident, stating in the same podcast that he is "hungrier than ever" for the rematch.
