In the heart of Lünen, Germany, on August 26, 2025, the Heinz-Hilpert-Theater Lünen and Theater Lünen e.V. support association will present a special guest performance. This time, it's the Brazilian musical theatre piece for children, BAMBU BAMBÁ.

BAMBU BAMBÁ is a touching and courageous production, suitable for children aged 6 and up to the 5th grade. The story follows Bambá, a black boy who leaves his home due to war and environmental disasters. As he encounters new cultures and learns rituals, Bambá finds strength in his own traditions.

This musical theatre piece, created by the Brazilian artist collective Bando de Brincantes, playfully breaks down prejudices and particularly resonates with children with a migration background. Without words, it conveys a message of hope, courage, and unity through impressive music and rich imagination.

Admission to the performances of BAMBU BAMBÁ is free. Registration is required and can be done at kltrbrlnnd. For more information, you can contact the Cultural Office Lünen at Kurt-Schumacher-Str. 41, 44532 Lünen; Phone 02306 104-2299.
