Brossart clinched the Class 1A Region 4 girls track and field title by placing first or second in an impressive 16 out of 18 events, amassing a score that surpassed the combined points of the second and third-place teams. The Mustangs triumphantly claimed the region championship trophy.

Brossart Wins Class 1A Boys Region Meet for the Fifth Consecutive Year

Brossart High School once again dominated the Class 1A, Region 4 boys track and field meet, securing their fifth consecutive victory. The team finished with a total of 176 points, outscoring the combined total of the next two teams.

Joe Schroeder, a senior from Brossart, won the shot put event, while Alex Combs, another senior, clinched the high jump. Ava Walters, a junior, added to Brossart's tally by winning the discus event. In addition, the school won all four relays, netting 112 points in seven individual races.

Tripp Wilson, a sophomore, and Peyton Trauth, another junior, contributed to Brossart's success by winning the triple jump and long jump events, respectively. Anna Curtsinger, a sophomore, added to the team's points with a victory in the pole vault event.

Beechwood High School finished a close second with 95 points. Nathan Pabst, a sophomore, was a second-place finisher in the 100 dash, and Broady Aylor, a junior, followed suit in the 200 dash. Caroline Nordman, a sophomore, brought home victories in the 200 and 400 dashes.

Lily Parke, a junior from Beechwood, had a remarkable performance, winning the 800, 1600, and 3200 events. Mark Antrobus, a senior, was the meet's other two-time gold medal winner, taking first place in the 4×800 relay and 1600 run.

Marcello Herald, a senior from Bellevue, won the 110 and 300 hurdles events, while Zoey Woosley, a senior from Brossart, added to her victories with a gold medal in the 100-meter hurdles and the 4×100 relay.

Newport Central Catholic took third place with 76 points. However, the search results do not list the other schools that qualified for podium places at the Class 1A Boys Track and Field Championships in Region 4 in 2021.
