In an inspiring display of sporting activity and social responsibility, ifm statmath Gmbh employees recently completed a 1,525-kilometre charity challenge, surpassing the symbolic distance from Siegen to Dublin. As a result, they raised a significant donation of 3,000 euros.

The donations were distributed among three worthy recipients. The first 1,000 euros went to Frauen helfen Frauen e.V., an established institution in Siegen that offers vital support to women affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, or discrimination. Frauen helfen Frauen e.V.'s central task is to protect, advise, and support these women, while also being intensively involved in public relations and prevention to raise awareness of domestic violence and women's rights.

The second donation of 1,000 euros was presented to the AWO Foundation "Chancen geben". This organisation specialises in animal-assisted therapies for people with special needs. One such beneficiary is a six-year-old boy named Noah, who, despite being affected by a rare genetic defect and neurological and motor impairments, receives regular riding therapy from the AWO Foundation "Chancen geben". This therapy helps Noah maintain mobility and promotes his development, improving his communication skills, self-esteem, and psychosocial integration.

The third donation of over 1,000 euros was presented to the Children's Island of the DRK Children's Clinic in Siegen. This outpatient intensive care unit provides a home-like atmosphere for children and adolescents who require long-term ventilation. The donation will contribute towards the planned renovation and consolidation of the two areas of the Children's Island, with the aim of optimising spatial and functional conditions, thereby improving the care situation and creating a daily life more tailored to the needs of the children and their families.

The repeated implementation of the donation challenge by ifm statmath gmbh demonstrates a continued tradition of combining sporting activity with social commitment. The support from the charity challenge is a significant contribution to the long-term securing of Frauen helfen Frauen e.V.'s work, the improvement of services offered by the AWO Foundation "Chancen geben", and the renovation and consolidation of the Children's Island of the DRK Children's Clinic in Siegen.

In addition to these organisations, the third recipient of ifm statmath GmbH's donation surcharge remains unspecified in the available sources. However, it is clear that the donation will have a positive impact on the local community, further cementing ifm statmath gmbh's commitment to social responsibility.
