Burglaries inflict significant damage in Hermeskeil and Reinsfeld

The Police Department of Rhineland-Palatinate has confirmed two daytime burglaries that occurred in Hermeskeil and Reinsfeld on Saturday, targeting single-family homes.

According to press releases from the Police Directorate Trier, the burglary in Hermeskeil took place between 4:00 PM and 6:30 PM, while the burglary in Reinsfeld occurred between 5:15 PM and 11:15 AM. In both cases, unknown perpetrators gained entry by forcing entry.

In the Hermeskeil burglary, a large sum of cash was stolen. On the other hand, in the Reinsfeld burglary, cash and jewelry were taken.

The perpetrators of these break-ins are currently unidentified. In Reinsfeld, an unidentified offender broke the driver's side window of a VW EOS parked at the B 407 passenger parking lot and searched the vehicle for valuables.
