Bydgoszcz is the destination ahead.
In the summer of 2012, an individual embarked on an exciting adventure through Eastern Europe, journeying from the heart of Prague to the shores of the sea. The traveler's itinerary included visits to the famous cities of Prague and Gdansk, but it was the train ride on the Baltic Express that truly captured their imagination.
The Baltic Express, a train that runs every four hours from Prague to Pardubice, was the traveler's first stop. They used the DB app to book their ticket to Pardubice, marking the beginning of their journey. The train, which also travels from Prague to Gdynia, stopped at several smaller cities along the way. However, the traveler bypassed these cities during their initial journey, expressing regret for not exploring them.
After leaving Pardubice, the Baltic Express made stops at Kolín, Blansko, Letovice, and Svitavy, among others, on the route from Prague to Ostrava. The train continued its journey, crossing through the Czech Republic and into Poland, before reaching the sea at Gdynia.
The traveler's journey through these cities was not without its highlights. They marveled at the beautiful architecture and rich history of Prague, and the vibrant culture of Gdansk. However, it was the regret of not exploring the smaller cities that lingered long after the journey had ended.
To travel on the Baltic Express, separate tickets must be purchased for each leg via an app. The train offers a unique and convenient way to travel through Eastern Europe, stopping at several smaller cities along the way. For future travelers, it is a reminder to take the time to explore the hidden gems that lie off the beaten path.
