This revamp isn't just about appearances—it's a dive into contemporary luxury, made to leave you spellbound.

The makeover isn't a sudden leap; it's a gradual, carefully laid-out process that commenced early, and you can expect the transformation to continue well into 2026[1]. The resort will remain bustling during this metamorphosis, with July 1, 2025, marking the grand switcheroo to the sleek, reimagined, and rechristened Caesars Republic. Ready to join the party? Anthony Carano, President and COO of Caesars Entertainment, had this to share: "Lake Tahoe, with its breathtaking scenery, deserves a world-class resort—and that's exactly what we've planned for its lakefront. The renovation journey has started, and we can’t wait for guests to witness the transformation unfold. Phases one and two will introduce a brand-new lobby and hotel tower, thrilling restaurants, and a fantastically reimagined casino for the ultimate, contemporary escape."

Prepare to be wowed as Marnell Companies, a renowned design firm, transforms the 1.6 million-square-foot resort, beginning with the remarkable lobby and permeating throughout the casino and hotel[3]. The 88,000-square-foot casino floor will be rejuvenated with chic new carpeting and lighting, along with modern furniture, and mesmerizing digital displays. Expect a dynamic, state-of-the-art gaming experience featuring the latest slot machines, a revamped High Limit Room and World Series of Poker Room, offering the perfect fusion of sophisticated gaming and high-stakes thrill-seeking[4].

Suites will be pampered too. The Remus Tower will receive a stylish makeover, while butler service will become the privileged perk for guests opting for select suites in both hotel towers[2]. The Romulus Tower is also in for a facelift, following its 2020 remodel.

The revamped resort will boast a swanky new lobby bar, Cleo's Coffee and Cocktails, an elegant space that transitions from a charming café during the day to an upscale lounge in the evening, providing the perfect place to unwind in style[4]. The resort's culinary scene will be bolstered further with the addition of WOLF by Vanderpump and an expanded Gordon Ramsay HELL’S KITCHEN, cementing its status as a go-to destination for discerning foodies[2].

Karie Hall, SVP and General Manager of Harrah's and Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe, exclaims, "We can't wait to welcome our guests to a resort that effortlessly blends the essence of Harveys' storied past with forward-looking luxury—an extraordinary destination that will redefine the Lake Tahoe region."

Across the street, Harrah's Lake Tahoe, linked to Caesars Republic via an effortless connector, is also undergoing improvements. The renowned Summit Suites will receive a facelift, while the recently opened Brew Brothers bar and restaurant adds a vibrant, craft beer-centric vibe to the property[5]. Moreover, additional technological updates and enhancements are on the horizon, promising an all-around enhanced guest experience.

Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe is the second Caesars Republic to unfurl its banners, following the successful debut of Caesars Republic Scottsdale, a Hilton Hotel. The renovations at Lake Tahoe will continue throughout 2025, taking a temporary pause during the summer season, before resuming in the fall and wrapping up by mid-2026. So stay tuned for more updates and prepare to be astonished at CaesarsRepublicTahoe.com!

Fun Fact: Did you know that Harveys Lake Tahoe began as a small café and gas station in 1944, growing to become Lake Tahoe's largest casino boasting more than 1,200 slots and 100 live-action tables? Its sister property, Harrah's Lake Tahoe, is connected via an underground tunnel.
