Camilla, the Queen, openly comments on a painful battle.

In an unexpected turn of events, King Charles III and Queen Camilla are currently grappling with a wasp infestation at their residence. The royal palace has reported a high level of wasp activity, leading to the deployment of specialized pest controllers to combat the issue.

These pest controllers are entomologists and pest management professionals, trained to handle insect infestations in high-security and historic locations. The severity of the infestation has been such that their services have been sought urgently.

The royal residence is not the only place affected. Camilla, during an engagement in York, spoke of a "terrible battle" against the stinging pests, indicating the extent of the problem. The wasps have become a "terrible plague" at the palace, causing concern for the monarch and her consort.

Interestingly, the royal residence, Highgrove House, also hosts a wildflower meadow with 120 different plant species and thirty beehives. Each of these beehives is estimated to house approximately 20,000 bees. This beekeeping endeavour, a passion shared by both King Charles and Queen Camilla, could potentially be affected by the wasp infestation.

On a brighter note, Highgrove Gardens, the royal residence's official website, offers the opportunity to purchase "Royal Garden Honey." A 250-gram jar of this honey costs 11.95 euros. The website also features a whiskey priced at 245.95 euros.

The wasp infestation at the royal residence has been referred to as a "disturbing" issue by a palace insider. Signs warning of high wasp activity have been placed on the grounds of the palace. The magazine "Hello" has reported on this unusual occurrence at the royal residence.

Despite the wasp infestation, the royal couple continues to carry out their duties. Camilla's engagement in York, for instance, went ahead as planned, albeit with a focus on the ongoing battle against the wasps. The royal family remains resilient in the face of this unexpected challenge.
