Serena Ryder Announces Holiday Tour

Canadian singer-songwriter Serena Ryder is set to embark on a festive tour at the end of November. Known for her triple-platinum hit Stompa and eight studio albums, Ryder will be joined by an all-Canadian band for the tour titled "Merry Myths."

The tour, which blends yuletide lore, holiday classics, and Ryder's original songs, will begin in Calgary at the Bella Concert Hall. Miles Gibbons will be playing drums, Lydia Persaud will be providing vocals and playing acoustic strings, and Christine Bougie will be playing guitar. Brian Kobayakawa will be handling the bass duties.

Ryder, a Toronto-based artist, first entered the folk-rock scene in 2007 with the album Weak in the Knees. She has since won seven Juno Awards, with her first win coming in 2008 for New Artist of the Year.

The tour will make stops in Banff and Saskatoon before landing in Edmonton, where it will make a stop at the Winspear Centre by December 2. A full list of dates and tickets for Serena Ryder's holiday tour are available on her website.
