Cango Inc. Surpasses 5,000 Bitcoin Milestone in August 2025
Cango Inc., a leading player in the Bitcoin mining business, has announced its production and mining operations update for August 2025. The company, which operates across multiple continents, has seen significant growth in its Bitcoin production.
As of August 2025, Cango's deployed hashrate stands at 50 EH/s, a testament to the company's expanding mining capacity. This is an increase of 6.9% from the unaudited, estimated average operating hashrate in July 2025, which was 46.3 EH/s.
The increased hashrate has led to a higher daily Bitcoin production. In August 2025, Cango produced an average of 21.41 Bitcoins per day, up from 20.99 in July. This month also saw a significant milestone as Cango mined 663.7 Bitcoins, surpassing the 5,000 Bitcoin milestone. As of August 2025, Cango holds a total of 5,193.4 Bitcoins.
The new CEO of Cango Inc., Paul Yu, took over in July 2025. Under his leadership, the company has been able to maintain and increase its mining capacity, overseeing a 50 EH/s Bitcoin mining capacity.
