Car Accident: E-scooter Rider Sustains Critical Injuries in Crash with Vehicle (Age 23)

On Friday morning, September 5, a serious traffic accident occurred in Bochum, Germany. The incident took place on Herner Straße 269, involving a car and an e-scooter.
According to reports, a 42-year-old resident of Bochum was driving a car from a gas station onto the road. In the process, the car collided with a 23-year-old e-scooter rider who was on the sidewalk and bike path.
The impact of the collision caused the e-scooter rider to fall, resulting in serious injuries. The victim was immediately taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
It was also revealed that the 42-year-old driver did not have a valid driver's license.
The Traffic Commission is currently investigating the accident. The Commission has taken over the further investigation of the accident, and anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Bochum Police.
