Car Accident in Political District: Two Victims After Head-on Crash
On September 1st, at 9:00 AM, a traffic accident occurred on the Hellweg in Hamm-Rhynern. The accident involved a Peugeot and a Ford.
The driver of the Peugeot, a 65-year-old from an unspecified location, veered into the middle of the road, causing the collision. As a result, the 58-year-old woman driver of the Ford from Hamm was seriously injured, and the 65-year-old driver sustained light injuries.
Both injured parties were promptly taken to local hospitals by the fire department. The vehicles involved in the accident were so badly damaged that they had to be towed away.
The Hellweg was closed between Dorchkamp and Wilhelm-Lange-Straße for the duration of the accident investigation, which is being conducted by the Police Headquarters Hamm.
