Car collision resulting in minor harm reported
On Saturday evening, an unfortunate incident occurred at the Neheim highway exit as an ambulance with flashing lights and sirens, traveling on the B7 from Neheim to Voßwinkel, collided with a BMW exiting the highway.
The BMW, driven by a 33-year-old man from Bergkamen, sustained damage and was no longer roadworthy. The driver was lightly injured and was taken to a hospital in another ambulance. Fortunately, both occupants of the ambulance were uninjured.
The police units of the Hochsauerlandkreis, including a traffic accident investigation team, were present at the scene. They secured the area, documented the accident, and collected witness statements to determine the cause of the collision.
During the investigation and cleaning process, the road was completely closed. However, the area has now been cleared, and the road has reopened.
