Car Crash in Leonberg, Germany: Six Individuals Sustained Injuries
A multi-vehicle collision occurred on August 30, 2025, at approximately 11:40 AM on Bundesautobahn 8 towards Munich. The collision took place between the Leonberg triangle and the Leonberg-Ost exit.
The collision involved an Opel and a Mercedes-Benz. According to the police report, the Opel driver, aged 20, was traveling in the left lane and collided with a stationary Mercedes due to inattention. As a result, both vehicles were no longer roadworthy after the collision.
The 26-year-old driver and 62-year-old passenger of the Mercedes were seriously injured and were transported to a nearby hospital for further medical treatment. Two occupants of the Opel were also seriously injured, and two suffered minor injuries. The total material damage from the collision is estimated at around 50,000 euros.
