Car crash involving two severely injured motorcycle riders, according to Polish authorities
In the Hochsauerlandkreis region, a traffic accident involving two motorcyclists occurred around 6:30 PM on Tuesday. The incident took place in the "Ochsenkopf" area on the L 685, the road connecting Sundern and Arnsberg.
According to the Hochsauerlandkreis Police Department, both motorcyclists sustained serious injuries. One of them was transported by helicopter to a nearby hospital, while the other was taken by ambulance. The identities of the motorcyclists, one from Bochum and the other from the Netherlands, have been disclosed.
The L 685 was completely closed for the duration of the accident investigation. The Traffic Commission has initiated investigations into the cause of the accident, but no further details have been provided as of yet.
