Car Theft during Assembly Work: Two Minors Accused of Stealing Student's Wallet (Politics)
In a troubling incident that took place in Langenselbold, a student's wallet was allegedly stolen by unknown juveniles. The theft occurred on Wednesday evening, around 8:15 PM, in a public area near a high-voltage line maintenance site, specifically in a park on Wilhelmstraße.
According to reports, the location of the theft is part of the Main-Kinzig District. The incident involved mutual insults between three boys aged 11, 13, and 14. During the altercation, the 14-year-old is said to have put the student in a headlock.
The stolen item was a wallet belonging to the 11-year-old student, which contained cash and a bus ticket. The wallet was later found in a nearby bush. The two older boys involved in the incident seemed to feel guilty and wanted to return the student's belongings.
The Southeast Hessian Police Presidiums were promptly notified and were able to intercept the teens. The two juveniles were handed over to their legal guardians with a stern warning. The police are seeking witnesses to the vehicle theft in Maintal, as a white van, which was parked nearby during maintenance work, was also reportedly stolen.
