Career Event in the Landshut Region
The city and district of Landshut, in partnership with the Round Table on Inclusion in the Workplace, are hosting the third inclusive job fair in Bavaria on May 17, 2025, at the Ergoldinger Bürgerhalle. This event is designed specifically for individuals with disabilities and chronic illnesses, offering them a chance to explore job and training opportunities.
The fair will take place from 10 am to 4 pm, providing ample time for attendees to engage with over 30 exhibitors from various industries, including well-known companies and authorities. The inclusive job fair aims to create a barrier-free environment, with accessible facilities such as an accessible toilet and a chill-out area for visitors who need a break.
In addition to the exhibitors, informative lectures on topics such as funding opportunities for employers and employees will be offered. These lectures are intended to provide valuable insights and resources for both potential employers and job seekers.
Sign language interpreters will be present at the fair to ensure effective communication for all attendees. Advisory services will also be available to help with questions about work and disability.
The fair is a measure of the Municipal Action Plan for the Implementation of the UN Disability Rights Convention, demonstrating Landshut's commitment to promoting inclusivity in the workplace. Parking is available for fair attendees, and snacks and drinks can be purchased on site.
