The Carnegie, Cincinnati's beloved local theatre, is gearing up for an unforgettable season. Kicking off the summer, the area's first professional production of The Color Purple will run from June 27 to July 6. Based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel by Alice Walker and the Steven Spielberg film, this production promises to be a soul-stirring spectacle.

From July 25 through August 3, audiences can enjoy Always... Patsy Cline, a musical based on the true story of Patsy Cline's friendship with her biggest fan. Kentucky native Charlotte Campbell, who has received critical acclaim for her performance as Patsy Cline, will star in this production.

Closing the Carnegie's summer season is Grease, running from August 15 to 24. This classic musical will feature popular songs like "Summer Nights," "Greased Lightnin'," and "You're the One That I Want." Paige Davis, known for hosting TLC's Trading Spaces, will play Miss Lynch in the production, and Olivia Grant will take on the role of the iconic character.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show will return to the Carnegie after a sell-out run in 2024, running from October 24 to November 2. This production, which has been voted "Best Play" and "Best Reason To Do the Time Warp" in CityBeat's Best of Cincinnati issue and "Best Musical" by BroadwayWorld Cincinnati, is not to be missed.

As the theatre season transitions into 2025-2026, The Carnegie promises another summer of bold new productions of beloved musicals. The season will begin performances in June and will close out with Anything Goes, another collaboration with the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM).

In addition to these productions, A Cozy Christmas with Queen City Cabaret will be back on December 6 and 7, and It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play will be on stage on December 9 and 10, featuring acting students from CCM.

The Carnegie has been voted Cincinnati's "Favourite Local Theatre" by Broadway World Cincinnati, and tickets for all shows are available at TheCarnegie.com. Don't miss out on these exciting productions and join the Carnegie community for a memorable theatre experience.
