Casinos operated by Caesars will debut two poker rooms on the Las Vegas Strip prior to the commencement of the World Series of Poker (WSOP).
Las Vegas' Poker Scene is Heating Up Ahead of the World Series of Poker
Get ready, poker enthusiasts! With the 2025 World Series of Poker rapidly approaching, Caesars Entertainment is gearing up to restart two poker rooms on the famous Vegas Strip.
The poker rooms at Caesars Palace and Planet Hollywood are slated to reopen in May, as confirmed by a representative of the Reno-based gaming and hospitality company. This exciting news comes as Planet Hollywood shuts down its poker room in 2021. The new room will take over the spot previously occupied by The London Club on the mezzanine level of the property, boasting a larger space than its predecessor.
Ken Ostempowski, senior vice president and general manager of Planet Hollywood, enthused, “With the World Series of Poker right around the corner, there couldn't be a better time to introduce Planet Hollywood's very own poker room next month.”
However, it's essential to clarify that the 2025 World Series of Poker won't be held at either Planet Hollywood or Caesars Palace. Instead, the 56th World Series of Poker will make its home at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas from May 27 to July 16, 2025. [4][5]
As the official WSOP festival kicks off, these reopened poker rooms at Caesars Palace and Planet Hollywood will contribute additional capacity for the summer poker events. The main series will showcase an array of tournaments and buy-ins across various poker formats, with most events being no-limit Texas hold'em.
