Catastrophic collision involving a commercial truck in the jungle's depths
In Juichen, a truck overturned on the pit edge road on August 21, 2020, around 11 am. The accident occurred near the Neusser Street industrial area, involving a single vehicle.
Emergency services were swiftly called to the scene, with police and fire services arriving shortly before 11 am. The incident prompted the deployment of rescue helicopters and cranes, and firefighters are still conducting rescue operations as of this writing.
The overturned truck is a Mercedes-Benz vehicle, according to reports. The truck veered onto a softer side strip for unknown reasons and overturned in a green area. As of now, the truck is lying on its cab.
Luckily, the accident has not resulted in significant traffic disruptions, as the area is not heavily frequented. However, nearby roads have been closed due to the accident.
