CD Projekt's team sizes for The Witcher 4 and Cyberpunk 2 projects are expanding, with the company's workforce approaching a staggering 800 employees.

CD Projekt, the Polish video game developer known for its popular titles like "The Witcher" series and "Cyberpunk 2077," has announced an expansion of its development teams for its upcoming projects.

According to the latest reports, the team for "The Witcher 4" has grown from 422 to 444 members, while the team for "Cyberpunk 2" has increased from 96 to 116 members. This recruitment strategy is aimed at accelerating production and moving both projects forward.

As of July 31, "The Witcher 4" is currently in the "most advanced" state of development among CD Projekt's projects. The game might be released in 2027, although a later date is possible. On the other hand, "Cyberpunk 2" is reportedly not as far along in development as "The Witcher 4," but it is progressing. The release date for "Cyberpunk 2" is estimated to be late 2030 at the earliest.

The growth in the number of developers at CD Projekt has resulted in a total of almost 800 people working on these projects. This represents a 10% increase from the total number of developers at the company.

In addition to these projects, CD Projekt's teams, including those for the Witcher spinoff "Sirius" and the new project "Hadar," have also seen growth.
