Celebrate Life's Pleasures: Art, Culture, and Exuberance in the Waning Summer Season of Celle

The city of Celle is set to host a series of captivating events from September 6th to 7th, offering a unique blend of arts, crafts, music, history, science, and sporting activities.

On September 6th, an artisan market will be held in the picturesque French Garden from 10 am to 6 pm. Visitors can browse through handmade unique pieces such as exclusive fashion, jewelry, ceramics, and luxurious accessories. The market continues on September 7th from 11 am to 5 pm.

In the city centre, a relaxed shopping stroll takes place on September 7th, from 1 pm to 6 pm. Street musicians like Sing' Marleen, UKEboXX, Buddy Schmidt, Stefan Basler, and Sophia (as a replacement for Black Sheep) will perform, adding a lively and entertaining touch to the event.

On the Aller river, the "Rowing Against Cancer" event takes place from 9 am on Saturday. This colorful summer festival offers encounters and community for both sports fans and families.

Moreover, Ottmar Hörl's internationally known serial figures are exhibited in Celle for the first time at the castle square. The artist has created an installation specifically for Celle, dedicated to the historical figure of Danish Queen Caroline Mathilde.

For those with a keen interest in bees, the Bee Institute Celle opens its doors to visitors on Sunday from 10:30 am to 5 pm. The open day program includes honey tasting, specialist lectures, and hands-on activities, making it a fun and educational experience for the whole family.
