Wörth's City Band Celebrates 70th Anniversary with WinTaStad
Tomorrow, the city of Wörth will celebrate the 70th anniversary of its band, Stadtkapelle Wörth, in the courtyard of Gasthaus Geier. The event, which starts at 2 PM and continues into the evening, will feature a musical performance by the well-known band WinTaStad.
Simon Müller, the club chairman, highlighted the importance of having a well-known band for the celebration. "WinTaStad is a name that resonates across the region," he said. "We're thrilled to have them join us for this momentous occasion."
The afternoon will be filled with music, as the city band provides accompaniment throughout the day. Visitors can enjoy coffee and cake during the afternoon, making for a pleasant and festive atmosphere.
WinTaStad will take the stage in the evening, with their musical performance starting from 6 PM. Georg Kulzer, the conductor of the city band, expressed his excitement for the event. "It's a privilege to share the stage with such a talented group," he said. "I'm looking forward to an exceptional evening of music."
The decision to hold the event indoors was made to avoid any potential weather issues. Despite this, the celebration promises to be a lively and memorable one, marking 70 years of music and tradition in the city of Wörth.
