"Celebration of drive, unity, and future opportunities" - event marking the graduation of 59 individuals from the hospitality sector.
59 Apprentices Graduate from Hospitality Industry in Ostholstein
Last Monday, the Eventfabrik played host to a vibrant graduation ceremony, as 59 apprentices from the hospitality industry received their certificates. The event was organised by Dehoga Ostholstein, represented by its 1st chairman, Matthias Drespling.
The graduating class included a diverse group of individuals, each specialising in different areas of the industry. David Giuliano Baehr from the Bayside Hotel focused on hotel management, while Tunglataglamir Ganzorig from the Youth Hostel Dahme and Niles Wittmack from the Hotel Strandkind excelled in gastronomy with a focus on restaurant service.
Mohammed Lablidi from Hansa-Park, Luca Ben Jankowsky from the Hotel Strandidyll, and Zulumkbek Emilbek and Kutbidin Zainabidinov from the Bayside Hotel were chefs in the graduating class. Leon Ernst from Arborea Marina Resort also specialised in hotel management. Anna-Larell Nagel from the Beach House specialised in restaurant and event catering, and Fabian Drouot from Arborea Marina Resort shared the same focus.
The graduation ceremony was a celebration of the passion, unity, and prospects of the hospitality industry. It was attended by around 160 guests, including instructors, businesses, association representatives, and the board, the vocational schools, the training companies, and the graduates themselves, who were all thanked for their contributions.
Ilona Hartmann, the principal of the Vocational Schools Oldenburg, gave a speech at the ceremony. In his closing remarks, Matthias Drespling thanked everyone who contributed to the success of the evening. The event concluded with live music and entertainment by DJ Stephan Nanz.
The subject teachers presented the exam certificates to the graduates, marking the end of their apprenticeships and the beginning of their careers in the hospitality industry. The name of the teacher who issued the certificates is not publicly available.
Regional specialties under the theme "Holsteiner Barbeque" were served during the event, adding to the festive atmosphere. It was indeed a memorable occasion for the graduates and all those who were part of this significant milestone in their lives.
