In an exciting development, the prestigious "How To Spend It" (HTSI) magazine has undergone a change aimed at showcasing more photos of subjects in their favourite locales. This transformation is particularly noticeable in the enlarged "How To Spend It In..." feature, which now provides a visual feast for readers.

Subscribers of the magazine can look forward to receiving top HTSI stories straight to their inbox every week, thanks to the free weekly newsletter. Signing up grants early access to HTSI every Friday, ensuring readers are always among the first to know about the latest trends and developments.

The magazine's shopping section has been moved to the back page in this week's issue, making way for the expanded "How To Spend It In..." feature. This change is part of a broader strategy to offer readers a more immersive and engaging experience.

As HTSI gears up for its 50th year in business next month, the fashion empire of its founder, Giorgio Armani, continues to thrive. With a value of €2.3bn, Armani's empire spans various industries including fragrances, suiting, hotels, and floristry. The designer, who is known for his work in film wardrobes such as American Gigolo, The Untouchables, and Goodfellas, is one of the few independent designers in the industry.

Armani's early medical training may have contributed to his intellectual rigor and attention to detail, which are evident in his designs. Despite being 91 years old and facing health issues this summer, Armani still retains control of his business.

In other news, London's hospitality scene is abuzz with the soft launch of The Chancery Rosewood, the former US embassy in Mayfair transformed into a luxury hotel. The Chancery Rosewood has been described as the "hottest reservation in London". Edwin Heathcote, an FT architecture and design critic, was the first guest at the soft launch.

While details about the architectural conversion of the building are scarce, it is known that Sir David Chipperfield, a British architect and Pritzker Prize winner, leads David Chipperfield Architects, the firm responsible for the project.

For those interested in keeping up with the latest HTSI offerings, a link to sign up for the free weekly newsletter is available here. This autumn, HTSI is offering an beauty special featuring products chosen by editors, intended to restore a "youthful bloom" for those with mature skin.
