Dragon Boat Festival Kicks Off

The Dragon Boat Festival, a much-anticipated annual event, is set to begin on August 22. The festival will see 2,500 active participants taking part in various activities.

Stadtwerke-Sprint-Cup Race

The festivities will commence on Friday with the Stadtwerke-Sprint-Cup race, starting at 6 PM.

Performance at Schweriner Schlossgarten

Following the race, Revolverheld, a renowned band from Hamburg, will perform at the Schweriner Schlossgarten at 7 PM. Revolverheld will be celebrating 20 years of their band history during this performance.

Fireworks Display and After-Show Party

Saturday evening will see a spectacular fireworks display at 10:45 PM, followed by an After-Show Party at Zenit.

Cabaret Festivals and Shows

The 22nd Cabaret Festival will take place at the Speicher, and the theatre invites you to two cabaret events, though further details about the events are yet to be revealed.

Tom Bomelino will perform his show "Postponed due to Apocalypse" at the Speicher on Saturday at 8 PM, while Max Beier will take the stage with his show "Love & Order" at the Soziokulturelles Zentrum in Röntgenstraße on Friday at 8 PM.

Nicole's Carpe-Diem-Tour

The German singer Nicole, who won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1982 with the song "Ein bisschen Frieden", will perform at the Schweriner Schloss' inner courtyard on Sunday at 8 PM as part of her Carpe-Diem-Tour.

Photography Exhibition "Music Music"

A photo exhibition called "Music Music", which makes music visible through photos, will open at the MV-Fotogalerie in the Schwerin Volkshochschule in Puschkinstraße on Sunday at 3 PM. Eight photographers from the MV-Foto association, including Oliver Beirow, Olaf Bellmann, Jürgen Brandt, Thomas Dürr, Volker Janke, Manfred Klement, Stanislaw Lifson, and Klaus-Peter Schmidt, will present their work in this exhibition.

DJ Christage will perform at the Welcome Party, but the details about the party are yet to be announced.
