New Managing Director Appointed at Celtic & Co: Claire Heathcote Takes the Helm

Celtic & Co, the beloved British heritage fashion brand based in Cornwall, has announced a significant change in its leadership team. Claire Heathcote, a seasoned retail industry professional, has been appointed as the new Managing Director of the company.

Heathcote joins Celtic & Co with over 20 years of experience under her belt. Her most recent role was leading product and trading at Pure Collection. Before that, she co-founded Loop Cashmere, a purpose-led brand focusing on ethically sourced pieces.

James Williams, Group Chief Executive at Refined Brands, which includes Celtic & Co, Turtle Doves, Frugi, and Kettlewell Colours, has expressed his delight about Heathcote's appointment. Heathcote herself is excited to join a brand with deep British roots, an unwavering commitment to craftsmanship, and a clear responsibility to people and planet.

Heathcote looks forward to working closely with the Celtic & Co team to build on the company's foundation and shape the next chapter. Her focus will be on staying true to the brand's values of natural materials, exceptional quality, and thoughtful design while accelerating the brand's growth and unlocking new opportunities.

The appointment comes at a crucial time for Celtic & Co, as the brand has recently seen successes launching with John Lewis, Nordstrom, and Next. Heathcote's experience in brand storytelling is expected to play a pivotal role in the brand's growth.

Prior to Loop Cashmere, Heathcote worked closely with design at Panache. However, there are no relevant search results available that provide information about her professional activities before her time at Celtic & Co or Refined Brands.

James Williams expressed confidence in Heathcote's ability to lead Celtic & Co, stating, "Claire's extensive experience and passion for the retail industry make her the perfect fit for Celtic & Co. We are thrilled to have her on board and look forward to seeing the brand's continued success under her leadership."

Heathcote officially joined Celtic & Co on August 26, 2022, and is eager to contribute to the brand's mission of creating beautiful, sustainable, and ethically sourced clothing for its customers.
