Championship in Kamchatka region for professionals, labeled as "Professionals - 2025", has come to a close.

The Kamchatka IRA Advanced Professional Training Center organized the regional stage of the "Professionals - 2025" competition, a platform that showcases the professional skills of students and vocational education students to potential employers. The ultimate goal is for winners to represent Kamchatka Krai in the championship final.

Over 160 participants, including students aged 14 and up, showcased their skills in 21 relevant competencies at technical schools, colleges, and regional enterprises. The participants' work was evaluated by 34 experts, including mentors and representatives of employer companies.

The closing ceremony of the regional stage was attended by Kamchatka Krai's Minister of Education, Alexandra Korotkova. In her address, Korotkova emphasized that participating in the competition is an opportunity to demonstrate perseverance, ambition, and a focus on results.

More than 60 winners of the regional stage were awarded certificates for internships in leading companies in Kamchatka Krai. The winners will proceed to inter-regional selection competitions, aiming to secure a spot in the championship final.

In addition to the competitive program, the championship included business events: a roundtable, seminars, master classes, intellectual games, and career orientation excursions. The goal of the "Professionals" championship is to develop human resources potential in various economic sectors and train highly qualified specialists.

The championship is part of the "Professionalism" federal project of the "Youth and Children" national project, aiming to increase the prestige of blue-collar professions and help shape the future of Kamchatka Krai by providing opportunities for young professionals. The competition is a significant step towards fostering a skilled workforce in Kamchatka Krai, a fact that has been previously stated.
