Check the weather forecast for August 4th in Spain
In the coming days, Spain is set to experience a variety of weather patterns across its regions.
In the south of Teruel, Aragon, high cloud intervals and daytime evolution cloudiness are expected in the afternoon. Meanwhile, moderate east component winds will blow in the Cantabrian region and the tramontana in Ampurdán and the north of the Balearic Islands, decreasing and turning to the west.
Temperatures in Extremadura will remain relatively constant, with a slight increase in maximum temperatures in the north. Minimum temperatures will not drop below 20-22 degrees, even locally reaching 25, in the Mediterranean and the southern half of the Atlantic slope.
In the northern half of the Peninsula, minimum temperatures will increase, except for the Cantabrian region and the northeast of Catalonia, where local decreases are expected. Remaining unchanged in the rest of the country, temperatures in the Baleares will have slight changes or slight decreases in the nocturnal ones and slight increases in the diurnal ones.
In Murcia, weak variable winds will tend to the eastern component in the central hours, and moderate winds from the south and southeast will occur on the coast in the afternoon. In the afternoon, some intervals of mountain evolution clouds will develop in the center, south, and east of the Peninsula.
Andalusia will experience moderate to strong winds from the east in Cadiz and the Almerian coast, with occasional very strong gusts in the Strait area. In the rest, weak to moderate winds will prevail, with predominance of the southern component.
In the Central and Iberian systems and the sierras of Albacete in Madrid, there will be intervals of evolution clouds during central hours. Maximum temperatures could reach 38 degrees in the rest of the community, and minimum temperatures will exceed 20 degrees in the center and south of the community.
Predominance of weak winds from the east and south components in the rest, turning to the west component on the Atlantic slope and with a tendency to increase in the Levante coasts. Practically generalized temperatures above 34-36 degrees in the interior of the Peninsula, as well as in the Rías Baixas and points of Alboran, expecting to exceed 40-42 in extensive areas of the southern half of the Atlantic slope and around the Miño.
Mostly clear or partly cloudy skies are expected, with some intervals of high clouds in the north of the Peninsula and in the Balearic Islands, with no expected precipitation. In Valencia, temperatures will increase in Castellón and Valencia, and weak variable winds will prevail with predominance of the eastern component on the coast of Alicante.
In Catalonia, maximum temperatures slightly decrease in Ampurdán and rise in the rest, reaching significantly high values in the central depression of Lleida. In La Rioja, some clouds may develop in the Iberian Range during central hours.
Current water levels in various rivers across Spain vary by location. For example, the Valiñadares river in Galicia shows about 47.4 cm water level, and the Guadalete river in Andalusia around 63-64 cm. Precise morning and evening water levels for all listed regions are not comprehensively available, as they depend on meteorological conditions and tides.
In the Canarias, predominance of skies with few clouds, except for morning intervals, especially on the coasts, and moderate trade winds with intervals of strong winds on the northwest and southeast slopes of the mountainous islands. Only cloudy skies or intervals of low clouds will occur initially in regions of the north and east of the Peninsula, north of the Canary Islands and south of Alboran, with probable morning fog banks scattered in high areas and a tendency to clear up.
The anticyclonic weather pattern will continue throughout the country. Moderate winds with probable intervals of strong northeast wind will blow on the northwest coast of Galicia, the trade wind in the Canary Islands, and the east wind in points of Alboran and in the Strait, where very strong gusts are probable.
