The automotive world is abuzz with excitement as two electrifying new supercars, the Corvette CX and CX.R Vision Gran Turismo, make their debut in Sony's latest racing game, Gran Turismo 7. These concept cars, designed by the Chevrolet Performance Studio in Warren, Michigan, showcase cutting-edge technology and stunning design.

The Corvette CX concept, an all-electric supercar, is equipped with four motors and boasts a powerful 90kWh lithium-ion battery. With an output exceeding 1470kW, this electric powerhouse is sure to leave a lasting impression on virtual racers. The CX concept also features active front and rear aero for enhanced performance on the track.

The interior of the CX concept is a futuristic masterpiece, resembling a jet fighter with a forward-lifting canopy, Inferno Red ballistic textile seats, and a full-width digital windscreen.

The CX.R Vision Gran Turismo is a remixed version of the CX concept, designed for racing. It combines a mid-ship 2.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine with three electric motors, offering a combined system output of 1470kW. The engine spins up to an impressive 15,000rpm, providing a thrilling driving experience. The CX.R Vision Gran Turismo is painted in the trademark yellow-and-black livery, further adding to its racing spirit.

The interior of the CX.R Vision Gran Turismo is equally impressive, featuring carbon weave and suede-trimmed racing buckets.

Both the CX and CX.R Vision Gran Turismo have been meticulously modelled for Gran Turismo 7, ensuring that virtual racers can sample the full glory of these concept cars. The virtual versions include functional aero, hybridised drivetrains, and full interiors, providing an authentic racing experience.

Unfortunately, the Corvette CX concept does not have plans for production, making the virtual version in Gran Turismo 7 the only way for enthusiasts to experience this electrifying supercar. However, with the success of the CX.R Vision Gran Turismo, it's not impossible that we might see a production version of this racing powerhouse in the future.

So, buckle up and get ready for the ride of your life as you take the wheel of these stunning concept cars in Gran Turismo 7. Whether you're a seasoned racer or a newcomer to the world of virtual racing, the Corvette CX and CX.R Vision Gran Turismo are sure to deliver an exhilarating experience that will keep you coming back for more.
