Child severely harmed in automobile accident
In Neu-Isenburg, a traffic accident involving a car and a bicycle occurred on Sunday afternoon at around 4:10 PM. The incident took place near house number 7 on Schönenbornring, temporarily closing the street for the duration of the operation.
According to the South East Hesse Police Headquarters, the driver involved in the accident is a 37-year-old woman. The victim of the collision was a 13-year-old cyclist who was hospitalized with minor injuries. Unfortunately, a seven-year-old boy was also hospitalized with severe injuries following the accident.
The woman turned from "Am Forsthaus Gravenbruch" street onto Schönenbornring when the collision occurred. The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident and are appealing for witnesses to contact them at their headquarters in Neu-Isenburg (06102 2902-0).
