Child severely harmed in road collision incident
In Hamm, a tragic incident occurred on Monday, September 1, at "An der Marienkirche" in the district of Hamm-Heessen. A six-year-old child was seriously injured in a traffic accident involving a VW vehicle.
According to the police, the accident took place when the driver, a 40-year-old individual from Hamm, was traveling northbound and turned right into a driveway. The child on a scooter could not avoid a collision with the vehicle.
As a result, the child was taken to the children's clinic for stationary treatment. The vehicle sustained property damage of approximately 2,000 euros.
The police director of Hamm has not been named in connection with the accident. The child's current location is the children's clinic.
